A Greek god fell in love with the nymph Minthe. In revenge, his wife turned the nymph into a lowly herb to be trampled. The god took pity on Minthe and made her smell sweeter with every crushing footstep.
The ancient Greek word for chamomile translates as "apple-on-the-ground." Chamomile's apple-like aroma blends well with another Mediterranean staple, orange, to create this soothing soap.
